1. OVERVIEW

The primary objective was to build a custom WordPress website. The site needed to match the design and the backend needed to be customized for easy updates.

We were sent a design file and upon review some of the design specs were not recommended. Such as the sizes of sections in the map and fonts.

The map functionality would need to vary based on device. On the backend a system allowing for changes to the map content would be required.

When we receive the final design file from the client we do a quick evaluation. If we see something that looks a bit off or is not typical to UX design. We will say something.

In this case we caught a few minor details that we thought we could improve upon. The client was kind enough to hear our suggestions and let us make those changes.

One important reason we were hired was to make sure they would be able to easily make edits to the site. Through a custom plugin we gave them the ability to change all the content needed.
